Mathlify STEM Initiative
Student-led and early-stage, we focus on affordable STEM kits for underfunded schools, youth organizations, and educational programs. Workshops are a future extension.
Example composition. Components may vary by kit level and availability.
Mission
Mathlify STEM Initiative focuses on making practical, affordable kit experiences more reachable for students in underfunded settings.
Keep materials within reach for schools and programs that want hands-on STEM without expensive setup barriers.
Give students a way to test ideas, ask questions, and explore how things work by building directly.
Move from abstract concepts to projects students can physically assemble, debug, and understand.
Programs
The initiative is currently focused on creating and providing beginner-friendly STEM kits. Workshops are a planned extension, not the primary branch today.
Practical component sets for classrooms and youth programs that need low-cost, buildable activities.
In the longer term, the initiative aims to support simple workshop formats that pair with kits and guided activities.
What's Inside The Kits
Contents may vary by kit level, budget, and availability. The goal is to keep kits useful, approachable, and ready for real learning spaces.
Example components (subject to change):
Simple projects focused on power flow, switches, and visual output.
Activities that introduce input and output through guided, low-cost builds.
Structured materials and instructions that can fit different group settings.
About
Tutoring and instruction focused on academic support and learning confidence.
Hands-on STEM kit access built for underfunded schools, youth organizations, and educational programs.
Why It Matters
Concepts land faster when students can test, fail, adjust, and try again with real parts.
Hands-on work invites participation from students who may not connect with lecture-only learning.
When kit access is missing, curiosity often drops. Early exposure can open long-term interest.
Simple successful projects can make STEM feel possible, not distant.
Team
Founder • Web Lead • Fundraising & Kit Coordination Co-Lead
Hi everyone! I started this initiative to make hands-on STEM more accessible for students who do not always have the same opportunities. I help lead fundraising and kit coordination, and I am excited to keep building this with our team.
Outreach, Logistics, Secretary • Fundraising Co-Lead
Hello everyone! I'm a huge advocate for people finding their own motivation, drive, and purpose in life. I hope that this program can allow both students and mentors to find something they may enjoy further down the road and possibly even a profession?!
Programs & Development Lead • Kit Design & Coordination Co-Lead
Hi everyone! I have extensive experience mentoring and helping kids excel at STEM camps, and I’m excited to bring that same energy and support to this program. I hope to help students build confidence, stay curious, and discover how fun STEM can be.
Outreach, Marketing, Community Partnerships
Hi everyone! I’m excited to support this initiative through outreach and marketing so more students and families can discover what we are building. I also help strengthen community partnerships so we can grow access to meaningful, hands-on STEM opportunities.
